2008 Chenin Blanc
Chenin blanc is arguably the most versatile of all wine grape varieties. Crisp, dry table wines, light sparkling wines, long-lived, unctuous, nectar-like dessert wines, and even brandy are all produced in various areas of the wine world, all of chenin blanc.
This Chenin Blanc has wonderful aromas of pear, honeysuckle, and a hint of banana extract. The flavors of crisp pear and apple dance across your tongue and are followed by that same banana on the exhale. This is a truly refreshing yet complicated wine to be enjoyed alone or with light fruits and cheeses. Drink now through 2010.
